Elizabeth Carter* (Carina) is thrilled to return to the Aurora where she was last seen in The Heir Apparent. Her numerous Bay Area theater credits include The Convert at Marin Theatre Co. where she was nominated for both SFBATCC and TBA Awards, Fences at Lorraine Hansberry Theatre, Nickel and Dimed  at TheatreWorks, You Never Can Tell at California Shakespeare Theater, Trouble in Mind, Wittenberg at Aurora where she was nominated for a SFBATCC Awards. Most recently she was seen in The Black Rider at Shotgun Players. A long time Bay Area actor, Elizabeth has expanded into directing for AlterTheatre, TheatreFirst and ACT. She will be directing SeaChange for ACT’s CYAP Project this summer.

Charisse Loriaux* (Meiko) is truly grateful to be returning to Aurora Theatre Company. Her most recent credits include the World Premiere of Non-Player Character and You Mean To Do Me Harm (San Francisco Playhouse). She also had the great honor to perform in the Bay Area premiere of Dogeaters (Magic Theatre). She originated roles in The Farm, The Salt Plays (Shotgun Players) as well as 410 [GONE] and Christopher Chen’s The Hundred Flowers Project (Crowded Fire). Other credits include the Lorraine Hansberry Theare, Tabia African-American Theatre Ensemble, Mexican Heritage Theatre and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Charisse also collaborated and modeled with the world renowned figurative artist Richard MacDonald on the monument, The Grand Coda, which will be unveiled in Shenzhen, China in 2018. Charisse is a graduate of San Jose State University and is a company member at Kaiser Permanente’s Educational Theatre. Lisa Anne Porter* (Suzanne) has performed with the American Conservatory Theatre, California Shakespeare Theatre, Marin Theatre Company, the Magic Theatre, San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, Shakespeare/Santa Cruz, Shakespeare Festival/LA, Center Repertory Theatre, SF Playhouse, BRAVA Theatre Center, Shakespeare & Company, Syracuse Stage, Sacramento Theatre Company, GeVa Theatre Company, and Boston Theatreworks. She has coached voice and dialect in over sixty productions nationwide. She is currently the Co-Head of Voice and Dialects for the American Conservatory Theatre and a lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley. She has served on the faculties of Syracuse University, UC Davis, San Francisco State University, Shakespeare & Company, The Tepper Center in NYC, Naropa University, California Shakespeare Theatre, Berkeley Repertory Theatre and the Academy of Art University. She has a B.A. from Wesleyan University and an M.F.A. from the American Conservatory Theatre.

Rolf Saxon* (Don)  is very happy to be returning again to the Aurora (After the Revolution, Talley’s Folly).  Locally he has also worked for the late, great TJT (The Floating Light Bulb), TheatreWorks (The Chosen, Time Stands Still, Triangle) Center Rep (Baskerville) and the Jewel Theatre (The Price, The Dance of Death).  Further afield he has been a member of Theatre Complicite and twice a member of the RSC and has performed in the British/European premieres of works by, among others, Donald Margulies (Dinner with Friends), Miguel Pinero (Short Eyes), Neil Simon (Lost in Yonkers, Laughter on the 23d Floor) and Lanford Wilson (Brontosaurus).  www.rolfsaxon.com

Teddy Spencer* (Eli) is thrilled to return to the Aurora, where he was last seen as Buddy in Talley & Son. Spencer’s regional credits include: Hamlet (American Conservatory Theatre); The Liar, A Christmas Carol (Center REP); Cabaret, Henry IV (Dallas Theater Center); Assassins, Clybourne Park (Milwaukee Repertory Theater); 4000 Miles (Capital Stage Company); As You Like It, Much Ado About Nothing (Marin Shakespeare Company); Sense & Sensibility (Sacramento Theater Company); Macbeth, Othello (Arabian Shakespeare Festival). His on-camera work includes Workaholics (Comedy Central), and Steve Jobs (Universal Pictures). He holds an MFA in Acting from Southern Methodist University, and is a Company Member with the Reduced Shakespeare Company, Arabian Shakespeare Festival, and SF PlayGround. 

Jonathan Spector’s (Playwright) plays include Good. Better. Best. Bested. (Upcoming: Custom Made Theatre), In From The Cold, Adult Swim, FTW, and Seas Between Us Braid. His work has also been developed with Berkeley Rep’s Ground Floor, Bay Area Playwrights Festival, Crowded Fire, San Francisco Playhouse, Mugwumpin, the Lark (NYC), Source Theater Festival (Washington, DC), and Just Theater, where is Co-Artistic Director. He is a two-time winner of Aurora Theatre’s Global Age Project, has received the Rella Lossy Award, Theatre Bay Area’s TITAN Award, PlayGround’s Emerging Playwright Award, and is a Resident Playwright at Playwrights Foundation.
